The Canadian Geotechnical Journal started out as a Society publication in 1960. In 1972 the National Research Council of Canada (NRCC) assumed responsibility for the Journal which became one of the scientific journals published by NRC. Although not connected to the Journal, the Society has remained in close contact with the Journal and is a great supporter of it. All past Journal Editors were distinguished Society members. This also applies to the present Editor:

Ian Moore, P.Eng.
Department of Civil Engineering
Ellis Hall, Queen's University
Kingston, ON  K71 3N6
Tel: 613-533-3160  Fax: 613-533-2128

The Society encourages its members to publish their papers in the Canadian Geotechnical Journal, the preferred outlet for publishing records of Canadian efforts, activities, successes and achievements in the field of geotechnique. The Journal enjoys an excellent national and international reputation and is considered to be one of the best in the geotechnical field.

Paper copies of current issues (published monthly) can be purchased for an additional fee.
