Graduate students from Canadian universities working in geohazards are invited to apply to present at the GeoHazards Connections online conference, to be held on April 30, 2026. GeoHazards Connections, organised by the CGS Geohazards Committee and hosted this year by Simon Fraser University, provides a remote platform for graduate students conducting geohazard research to connect, share their work, and receive feedback from practitioners and colleagues and faculty members at other academic institutions. The event will consist of 8-10-minute presentations plus 2 minutes for discussion and will be hosted via an online platform. This will be a great warm-up opportunity for those attending and presenting at the CGS Geohazards 9 conference in June, or a good alternative for those who can’t.
Applications for presentation are due on April 7, 2026 and can be submitted by following this link: forms.cloud.microsoft/r/w6aipdZyQQ
