Committees

Technical activities of interest to CGS members that transcend the Society’s Divisional structure are managed through a Committee structure. There are currently six, active standing Committees that report to the Board through the Vice-President Technical:

• Computing Committee
• Education Committee
• Heritage Committee
• Landslides Committee
• Professional Practice Committee
• Transportation Geotechnique
• Mining Geotechnique Committee

Standing Committee Chairs are appointed by the Board through the Vice-President. Members of Committees are selected and appointed by the Chair.

CGS members interested in serving on one of CGS’s committees should contact the Chair directly.
