Canadian Geotechnical Journal

The monthly Canadian Geotechnical Journal is the foremost journal in Canada for publishing in the geotechnical field. The CGJ began as a CGS publication in 1963; since 2010 it has been published by Canadian Science Publishing. It enjoys an excellent national and international reputation and is considered to be one of the best journals in the geotechnical field.

CGS members are provided with online access to the CGJ through the password-protected member section of the CGS website. CGS members can purchase a mailed copy of the CGJ for an additional fee (contact the CGS National Office at cgs@cgs.ca).

Click here to access the CGJ if you are a CGS member.

Non-members can access abstracts, or purchase a subscription to the Canadian Geotechnical Journal, directly from Canadian Science Publishing.

Although not connected directly to the CGJ, the CGS is a great supporter. The CGJ has a tradition of selecting distinguished CGS members to serve as editors. Dr. Ian Moore has been the Editor since Vol 44 (2007). Dr. Daichao joined as the co-Editor for Vol 50 (2013). Craig Lake joined the team as of Vol 54 (2017).
