Membership in the Canadian Geotechnical Society is open to both Canadian and international engineers and geoscientists associated with the discipline that is broadly defined as geotechnology. This includes, but is not limited to, soil mechanics, rock mechanics, engineering geology, groundwater, cold regions geotechnology, geosynthetics, and geoenvironmental practice.
There are three categories of membership: Regular, Retired and Student.
The membership year is from January 1 to December 31.
